PRL hypersecretion is the most common endocrine abnormality due to hypothalamic–pituitary disorders. PRL is the hormone most commonly secreted in excess by pituitary adenomas. Patients usually present with oligo-amenorrhea, galactorrhea, loss of libido, impotence and infertility.
